The February Challenge!
To kick off 2011 properly, Platt College Career Services will be running a unique competition designed to jump-start your imagination!
This is only the first of many events you’ll see throughout the year, all designed to keep the competitive spirit alive. So here’s your mission, should you choose to accept it…
Have you ever browsed a website and ran into a file not found / 404 Error Page? If so, then you know these pages aren’t very unique. In fact, most of the time they’re pretty dull, like the example below.
Your objective is to create a unique, comedic, and/or imaginative 404 Error page that will humor the viewer. Need some examples? Check these out…
Here are the details:
Size: 800 x 600, 72 DPI
Format: JPG or PNG
Contest Dates: Feb 1st – Feb 25th
Final Submissions Date: Feb 25th @ 5PM
Submissions CAN BE TURNED IN earlier than Feb 25th.
Submissions ONLY ACCEPTED if emailed to: careerservices@platt.edu
Submissions do not need to be coded into HTML/CSS format!
Winners will be announced March 1st!
Two runners-up will be chosen to take home some pride and cool prizes, but the 1st-place winner gets all the glory and a copy of DC Universe Online (PS3 or PC), courtesy of Sony Online Entertainment!
