DSD400 - Sound Design and Engineering

100 hours - 5.00 semester credit hours

The class will introduce students to the fundamentals of sound design and engineering in both analog and digital uses. Upon completion students will understand the theory of sound in its acoustic, digital and analog properties; students will become comfortable using a range of audio equipment, e.g. microphones, cables, mixing boards, and m-audio boxes. This course will also cover audio output and input applications.
